Our desire is that we will be a Church family that will live our lives walking closer with God.
We have developed a vision for the church known as the Garden Project, with eight core growth areas:
FELLOWSHIP
A colourful garden that is enthusiastic about developing Christian friendships through fun-filled social fellowship get-togethers.
WELCOMING CHURCH
We want to be a colourful and attractive garden, that is warm and welcoming, beautiful, and a safe place for all.
CHILDREN'S AND TEENS MINISTRY
We want a garden that brings and offers life to the children and teenagers of our community.
PASTORAL CARE
We want to be a garden that is effective in its all-year-round pastoral care.
SPIRITUAL FORMATION AND GROWTH
Garden work is an ongoing process that if unattended, weeds will grow and take over. For our garden to be attractive, fruitful and life-giving, we must nurture, fertilise, feed, water and weed it.
MISSIONS
We want to be a garden that cross-pollinates with other missionary gardens. We will look at creative ways in how we can offer up prayer and financial support for BMS, and at ways to grow the garden to go locally or nationally or abroad in mission.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH HUB
A safe space for our garden to be a visible part of our community. It will grow and develop a peaceful Christian-themed space set around a sandwich and coffee bar, and engage in people to enjoy different activities together.
LBC BRANDING
We wish to be a garden that is noticeable in our community, including through social media, branded clothing, presence at community events and using a variety of media resources to engage with the community.
